Coverage Overview

Our dental plan coverage offers two traditional options (Enhanced and Core Plans) and a Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO) Plan — all administered by Delta Dental. Watch our Dental insurance and tips video to learn more and see your 2025 Cost for Coverage. Delta Dental health resource calendar is a library of preventative care and reminders for you and your covered family members.

Where’s my ID card?

If you select the DMO Plan, an ID card will be mailed to your home.

If you select the Core or Enhanced Plan, you will not receive an ID card; instead, just give your dental office your name, date of birth, Social Security number, and ADT as your provider.

Group numbers are 79202 for the DMO Plan and 20132 for the Core or Enhanced Plan; your dental office may ask.

If needed, you can view an electronic ID card for any of the options on deltadentalins.com or download the mobile app (available for Android and Apple)

Core Plan

The Core Plan offers a network of dentists. You can see any dentist you choose, but you pay less when you receive services from an in-network dentist. This plan has lower premiums than the Enhanced Plan, a lower maximum benefit, and an annual deductible to meet before the plan pays benefits.

The Core Plan provides coverage and/or discounts on:

  • Virtual consultations and Toothpic
  • Diagnostic and preventive services (exams, cleanings, X-rays, and sealants)
  • Basic services (fillings, denture repair/relining, root canals, gum treatments, and oral surgery)
  • Major services (crowns, inlays, onlays, cast restorations, and TMJ treatment)
  • Prosthodontics (bridges, dentures, and implants)

Enhanced Plan

The Enhanced Plan offers a network of dentists. You can see any dentist you choose, but you pay less when you receive services from an in-network dentist. This plan has higher premiums per paycheck than the Core Plan, but also a higher maximum benefit, no deductible, and orthodontic coverage.

The Enhanced Plan provides coverage and/or discounts on:

  • Virtual consultations and Toothpic
  • Diagnostic and preventive services (exams, cleanings, x-rays, and sealants)
  • Basic services (fillings, denture repair/relining, root canals, gum treatments, and oral surgery)
  • Major services (crowns, inlays, onlays, cast restorations, and TMJ treatment)
  • Prosthodontics (bridges, dentures, and implants)
  • Orthodontics (for adults and dependent children)

DMO Plan

The DMO Plan (DeltaCare USA) is a lower-cost option; however, you must see a network dentist to receive benefits. Additionally, you will need to select a primary care dentist (PCD) for each family member you cover (or one will be assigned to you), and all care must be coordinated through that provider or you will pay the full cost for services.
